CANINE ("Your pocket dog trainer") is operated by Universo Perruno (universoperruno.com), a business owned by Pablo Vidal, based in Montevideo, Uruguay. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, where it is stored and how we use it.
1. Data stored only on your device
When you answer questions about your dog and use the CANINE web app, your dog's profile and your daily training progress are saved locally on your own device (in your browser storage). We do not store your dog's details or your training progress on our servers.
2. Data stored on our servers (access and reminders)
To unlock your plan and keep the app working, we store only the minimum data needed on our servers (hosted on Vercel):
Purchase and access validation: when you buy a plan through Hotmart, we receive your purchase email address, the product purchased and your payment status. We also store device identifiers to manage your active devices (up to 3 devices per purchase; a device that does not open the app for 60 days automatically releases its slot).
Optional reminders: if you turn on training reminders in the app, we store your push notification subscription and your time zone so reminders arrive at the right time. You can turn reminders off at any time.
3. Sales page, newsletter and advertising
Our sales page runs on Shopify and uses cookies and tracking tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure the performance of our ads and understand how visitors use the page. If you subscribe to our newsletter on the sales page, Shopify stores your email address so we can send you occasional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
4. Payments
All payments are processed directly by Hotmart. Universo Perruno does not collect, process or have access to your card numbers or banking details.
5. We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share data with the providers strictly needed to run our service: Shopify (sales page), Hotmart (checkout) and Vercel (app hosting and access validation).
6. Your rights and contact
To ask about your data, request the deletion of your purchase email and device records from our servers, or get support, contact us at holauniversocanino@gmail.com.
